The Last Great Traffic Jam DVD
The first live DVD from Traffic! These amazing performances were filmed during their 1994 reunion tour. Having dissolved on the heels of a sold-out 1974 tour and a top ten album (The Eagle Flies), the members of Traffic went their separate (and in the case of Steve Winwood, highly lucrative) ways. At the dawn of the 1990's, Winwood and Jim Capaldi renewed their friendship and added another chapter to Traffic's historic legacy. The group released Far From Home, dedicated to band member Chris Wood who had passed away in 1983. Joined by percussionist Walfredo Reyes (Santana), onetime Traffic bassist Rosko Gee, and multi-instrumentalists Randall Bramblett and Mike McEvoy, Winwood and Capaldi took the show on the road one more time. This DVD captures plenty of the stunning performances plus snippets of life on the road, backstage footage, and more to create a full-spectrum view of this legendary tour.
Includes bonus acoustic CD, recorded in 1994, featuring never-before released performances of "40,000 Headmen," "John Barleycorn," and "Low Spark."
