Big Something heats up Snowy Cincinnati
Fresh off a Jamaican adventure at Moes.Tropical Throe.down Big Something arrived in Cincinnati for a 2-night run at The Taft Theater with Umphrey’s McGee. A perfect pairing.

Big Something a hard charging band known for their high-energy live performances was ready to get back to the stage.

Big Something started off the weekend with EWI 4000 showing off Casey Cranford's talents on the EWI which brings an unmistakable Big Something sound. The set continues through "Sundown Nomad" off of Big Something's most recently 2018 release. Finishing the night with a Peter Gabriel Cover 'Sledgehammer". This night was a well-rounded sound that reaches back to the beginnings. Many fans traveled a great distance not to miss these BIG nights in Cincinnati.

Big Something has been pushing tunes for almost a decade now. They bring a supremely unique sound to the stage that incorporates many different flavors of music for this uniquely instrumented Jam Band using the EWI, synth, sax, and trumpet.

Big Something is wrapping the last of their East Coast winter tour that have been on the road since their 3-night New Year's Eve run in Raleigh, NC. They are prepping for a 20+ night tour with Aqueous that is focused on the West and Southwest.

Every piece and member of Big Something are critical to this amazing unique music; Jesse Hensley unmistakable lead guitar, Nick MacDaniels support guitar and amazing vocals, Doug Marshall's spot-on Bass thunder, Ben Vinograd venue filling drums, Josh Kagel's weaving of sounds via Key and trumpet, and the EWI sounds from Cast Cranford.

Night 2 with the threat of a major winter storm didn't slow the fans down at all. Many hadn't seen Big Something before but were certainly fans now. This night brought a huge spectrum from the Big Something catalog, many songs from the past; starting with the amazing "Sirens' to open then followed by "The Curse of Julia Brown" Sandwich with "Space", "In the Middle", and the ever so popular "My Volcano".
